Spot Guide

On Isla Holbox we are blessed with two main spots Kite Beach and Punta Mosquito. These spots work in nearly all wind directions and for those days where they don't, we can whisk you off to a magic spot just a short ride from the island. Winds in Holbox blow at their strongest and most consistent from November through until the end of May. Usually 12-25knots. When the wind blows at its strongest from the north during the winter months, a wetsuit is recommended. During the summer months the wind is generally lighter and less predictable.

We have access to our main kite spot just next to Hotel Las Nubes. This is where you'll find the flat water lagoon, a dream spot to ride, or if you prefer open water just cross the sandbar and you'll be in the sea. The rigging area is a bit limited but don't forget you can and should launch and land inside the lagoon. Once in the water you can find all the space you'll ever need.

We have a beautiful 25km long desert island beach. We head out there using our private boat when the winds are suitable.
